Fried Chicken

Ingredients

  • Whole Chicken cut into half or 8 pieces
  • 1/2 tsp Seasoning Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 cup AP Flour
  • Avocado Oil (enough to come half way up the sides of the chicken while frying)

Instructions

  1. Evenly sprinkle Seasonings over all pieces of chicken.
  2. Deep Fryer: Coat chicken pieces in flour.
  3. Deep Fryer: Skin side up, fry for 15 - 20 minutes, 350 F.
  4. Deep Fryer: Flip chicken over to skin side down, fry for 8 - 10 minutes.
  5. Air Fryer: Skin side down, cook for 20 - 25 minutes, 350 F.
  6. Air Fryer: Flip chicken over to skin side up, cook for 8 - 10 minutes.
  7. To check for doneness, cut chicken to bone. No blood it is done. OR, when you see clear juices, no blood, it is done. OR, using thermometer, internal temperature is 165F.
