Are you tired of buying bread from the grocery store?

That is too expensive, has too many ingredients and just not that flavorful.

Well this recipe is for you.

Eight ingredients that you can pronounce, very flavorful and easy to make.

Ingredients

Yeast Activation

  • 1/2 cup Coconut Milk
  • 1 3/4 cup Water
  • 2 tbsps Molasses
  • 2 tbsps Avocado Oil
  • 7 gram package Yeast

Dry Ingredients

  • 3 cups AP Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Wheat Bran

Instructions

  1. Warm the water and milk to about 100F to 113F.
  2. Add milk, water, molasses and oil to mixing bowl. Stir to molasses evenly distributed.
  3. Sprinkle yeast over the top of liquids. Let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
  4. Now add flour, salt and wheat bran (optional).
  5. Using the dough hook attachment knead 30 seconds. Scrape down the sides. Knead for 3 minutes. The bowl should be clean and the dough clinging to dough hook.
  6. Put dough in oiled bowl, making sure to turn the dough so that it is completely covered in a light layer of oil.
  7. Cover bowl with plastic wrap or towel. Let it rest in a warm area for 1 hour. It will double in size.
  8. When dough is doubled in size, remove from bowl and knead into desired shape.
  9. Place dough into parchment paper lined bread pan. Let rest for 20 minutes for the second rise.
  10. Bake dough at 350F for 30 to 40 minutes.
  11. You may want to cover the bread the last 15 minutes to avoid over browning.

Notes

When the bread is done tap the bottom and listen for a hallow sound.
