Ingredients
- Whole Chicken cut into half or 8 pieces
- 1/2 tsp Seasoning Salt
- 1/2 tsp Cajun Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 cup AP Flour
- Avocado Oil (enough to come half way up the sides of the chicken while frying)
Instructions
- Evenly sprinkle Seasonings over all pieces of chicken.
- Deep Fryer: Coat chicken pieces in flour.
- Deep Fryer: Skin side up, fry for 15 - 20 minutes, 350 F.
- Deep Fryer: Flip chicken over to skin side down, fry for 8 - 10 minutes.
- Air Fryer: Skin side down, cook for 20 - 25 minutes, 350 F.
- Air Fryer: Flip chicken over to skin side up, cook for 8 - 10 minutes.
- To check for doneness, cut chicken to bone. No blood it is done. OR, when you see clear juices, no blood, it is done. OR, using thermometer, internal temperature is 165F.
