My Favorite Cornbread
This is a sweet cornbread recipe. I admit it is more like cake than cornbread.
Maybe, that is why it is my favorite cornbread recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 3/4 cup Cornmeal
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 tbsp Baking Powder
- 1tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Avocado Oil
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 1/4 cup Milk
Instructions
- In medium size bowl, mix dry ingredients.
- In measuring cup mix wet ingredients.
- Add wet ingredients to bowl of dry ingredients.
- Mix until there are no streaks of flour left.
- Pour into a round buttered 9 1/2 skillet.
- Bake at 375F for about 25 minutes.
- The cornbread is done when you gently press in the center, and it is firm.
